Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Kervarec started the match with the kick off. Serge Chaumeil scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Diarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Drulhes's zone, Matthieu Favennec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Diarra came out of the goal and Matthieu Favennec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Matthieu Favennec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Diarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Theo Cotard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poulx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drulhes the free kick. Theo Cotard kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Drulhes's Hector Kervarec got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Costantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Diarra having to interfere. If Honore Pesnel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Drulhes's zone, Matthieu Favennec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Kervarec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Cotard kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Honore Pesnel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Matthieu Favennec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Diarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Xavier Costantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Diarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Matthieu Favennec came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Poulx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthieu Favennec couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Costantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Darren Ducasse fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drulhes's protests and gave Darren Ducasse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Darren Ducasse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Carrara's late challenge caught a Poulx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Carrara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Drulhes getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alex Carrara hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Serge Lhuissier fired a really elegant long shot, but Lucien Diarra threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honore Pesnel in the 68th minute of play forced Poulx's goalkeeper Lorenzo Pepin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Poulx's Theo Cotard got a free kick in the 69th minute. Xavier Costantini scored 0-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Diarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Hector Kervarec notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Poulx's Lorenzo Pepin. Lorenzo Pepin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Poulx getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Serge Chaumeil hit a great ball. Honore Pesnel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Poulx's Xavier Costantini in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drulhes's goalie prevented a goal. Lucien Diarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Costantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Honore Pesnel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Poulx supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poulx would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
