Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean-Philippe Fillion started the match with the kick off. Jean-Philippe Fillion was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Rives's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Gustave Bohn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rives's Arthur Bos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Philippe Fillion was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Rives's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arnaud Le Faou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louis Bricaud in the 24th minute. Chesnaye's Arnaud Le Faou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Philippe Fillion in the 26th minute of play. Arnaud Le Faou made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Louis Bricaud sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Chesnaye's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Philippe Fillion came free, but Arnaud Le Faou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Philippe Fillion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaud Le Faou having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Aymerick Longuet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chesnaye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aymerick Longuet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Rives got a freekick which was hit by Simon Leforestier. 37 minutes into the match, Rives's goal looked a bit too open when Aymerick Longuet came free, but Arthur Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chesnaye booed when Rives was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Pouille didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chesnaye's Gustave Bohn got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Rives's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Bohn came free, but Arthur Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aymerick Longuet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gustave Bohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
After a defensive mix-up in Rives's zone, Gustave Bohn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bos came out of the goal and Gustave Bohn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustave Bohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Louis Bricaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chesnaye booed when Rives was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymerick Flory didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jean-Philippe Fillion came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rives fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Philippe Fillion couldn't finish the play. Arthur Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Bohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Aymerick Longuet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Arthur Bos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Jimmy Coisne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaud Le Faou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Bricaud in the 77th minute of play. If Gustave Bohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Bohn in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Leforestier during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chesnaye booed when Rives was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabe Pilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chesnaye's zone, Louis Bricaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaud Le Faou came out of the goal and Louis Bricaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rives's Jean-Philippe Fillion in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chesnaye's goalie prevented a goal. Rives were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chesnaye for a fine match.
