Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florent Carel made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Auriol's zone, Johan Depret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Dumortier came out of the goal and Johan Depret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacques Chevets short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Joey Sart to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joey Sart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florent Carel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corentin Peuch in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Dumortier saved Auriol from getting behind. Bures's Joey Sart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Bures from getting a goal against them. If Johan Depret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Auriol booed when Bures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corentin Peuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacques Chevet struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joey Sart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auriol. Florent Carel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Sart having to interfere. Joey Sart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florent Carel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gaston Gauchet's late challenge caught a Auriol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Gauchet helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Bures got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gauchet. In the 37th minute, Augustin Vallin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bures's Joey Sart didn't even have to move. Bures's Johan Depret got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charly Manteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Dumortier having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Florent Carel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Thierry Brown had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Corentin Peuch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Dumortier. Auriol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corentin Peuch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 68th minute, Augustin Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Depret in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Dumortier saved Auriol from getting behind. Johan Depret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ronald Dumortier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Depret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronald Dumortier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corentin Peuch went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thibaut Chaudron hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Bures's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Chevet came free, but Joey Sart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Florent Carel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auriol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florent Carel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bures eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
