Victorien Briancon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Linselles getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Florent Rabu hit a great ball. If Olivier Roset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Argonay got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Attia. John Rochat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Foulonneau in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Christopher Foulonneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linselles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Foulonneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Victorien Briancon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Argonay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Amestoy to maneuver through the defense. Victorien Briancon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, John Rochat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Argonay booed when Linselles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Godard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Linselles's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Attia came free, but Romeo Hachet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ronan Bousquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olivier Roset to strike the kick off in the second half. John Rochat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorien Briancon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Romeo Hachet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Roset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilan Georget's late challenge caught a Argonay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilan Georget helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Ilan Georget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Argonay booed when Linselles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilan Georget didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivier Roset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Romeo Hachet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Hachet was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Olivier Roset capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olivier Roset really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Linselles's Romeo Hachet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Roset in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Argonay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
