The Rangueil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gael Sellam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernand Dromard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Debonne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gael Sellam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernand Dromard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gael Sellam having to interfere. With a little luck, Caucherie's Gael Sellam got control of the ball when Johan Debonne tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Reynald Edon fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangueil's protests and gave Reynald Edon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Reynald Edon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gilbert Diarra came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Caucherie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Diarra couldn't finish the play. Achille Bianchi charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Bianchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rangueil booed when Caucherie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Bianchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Johan Debonne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rangueil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Debonne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fernand Dromard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Caucherie getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eddy Paquin hit a great ball. If Fernand Dromard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernand Dromard to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Debonne in the 52nd minute of play forced Caucherie's goalkeeper Gael Sellam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caucherie's Gilbert Diarra got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Johan Debonne came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Rangueil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Debonne couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Caucherie's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Dromard came free, but Gael Sellam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Eric Lys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caucherie's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Lys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Foulquier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Caucherie's Faudel Valery got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Johan Debonne fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangueil's protests and gave Johan Debonne a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Rangueil got a freekick which was hit by Johan Debonne. After a defensive mix-up in Caucherie's zone, Reynald Edon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gael Sellam came out of the goal and Reynald Edon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rangueil fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Rangueil's Johan Debonne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rangueil fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caucherie had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
