Laubaudie's Gilles Crépy got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Laubaudie's Felix Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hippolyte Bequet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Steevy Perbet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilles Crépy in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hippolyte Bequet saved Goupilloux from getting behind. In the 17th minute of the match Carl Rouvier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Guiheneuf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Goupilloux's Hippolyte Bequet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Crépy in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Goupilloux's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Almeida came free, but Hippolyte Bequet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Igor Pilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Guiheneuf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Laubaudie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steevy Perbet to maneuver through the defense. Bob Rossetti in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelson Guiheneuf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute Felix Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hippolyte Bequet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Cerqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mario Urvoy's late challenge caught a Goupilloux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Urvoy helped the player get up and apologised. The Goupilloux players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laubaudie were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Pilon made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Laubaudie's Steevy Perbet got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Henri Dureuil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Laubaudie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Henri Gerbe to maneuver through the defense. Igor Pilon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Guiheneuf having to interfere. If Igor Pilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yvan Vincendeau came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Goupilloux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yvan Vincendeau couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Bob Rossetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goupilloux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Rossetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Steevy Perbet fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laubaudie's protests and gave Steevy Perbet a yellow card for diving instead. Steevy Perbet kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Bob Rossetti came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Goupilloux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Rossetti couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Emeric Ravel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goupilloux and the Laubaudie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emeric Ravel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Hippolyte Bequet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilles Crépy went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gilles Crépy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hippolyte Bequet came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilles Crépy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 87th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Laubaudie walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
