Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnold Jouy made the kick off which started today's match. Gerald Quemere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Frechet in the 5th minute of the match. Joaquim Gillard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Jouy, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Arnold Jouy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Gillard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Raoul Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes in the game, Tommy Frechet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerald Quemere having to interfere. Firmin Ledoux kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Coulogne's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Frechet came free, but Gerald Quemere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raoul Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Quemere having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Arnold Jouy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coulogne's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Jouy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Gillard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Coulogne's Teddy Vende got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Coulogne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Firmin Ledoux to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Giragoutte's Boris Labro tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Tommy Frechet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnold Jouy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Firmin Ledoux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 58th match minute, Coulogne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Borgne to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Auguste Le Mentec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coulogne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giragoutte the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Coulogne:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Giragoutte:s goal. Tommy Frechet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gerald Quemere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Gillard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Puget in the 73rd minute. Arnold Jouy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Gillard having to interfere. Tommy Frechet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerald Quemere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Gerald Quemere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Frechet in the 90th minute of play forced Coulogne's goalkeeper Gerald Quemere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Pugets short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Joaquim Gillard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Giragoutte were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Coulogne for a fine match.
