In the 5th minute of the match, Dan Bruder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Calvin Gonzales saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Calvin Gonzales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Bruder's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. A collision led to Valency getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Louison Colombier hit a great ball. Bruce Cerveau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Joubin having to interfere. Joris Joubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Dupe in the 19th minute of the match. Bruce Cerveau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Pyroutet's Bruce Cerveau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joris Joubin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valency's Joris Joubin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Dupe in the 30th minute of play. Jason Dupe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvin Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bruder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan Taillefer's late challenge caught a Valency's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dylan Taillefer helped the player get up and apologised. Louison Colombier hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruce Cerveau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Erwan Grand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valency and the Pyroutet players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valency getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Erwan Grand hit a great ball. Dan Bruder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Calvin Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnabe Laigneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Dupe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Joris Joubin made a huge save. Dilan Melon kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Barnabe Laigneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valency's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabe Laigneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barnabe Laigneau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Calvin Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Dan Bruder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Jason Dupe came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pyroutet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jason Dupe couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Pyroutet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Gallois to maneuver through the defense. If Dan Bruder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Dupe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Joris Joubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pyroutet players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valency.
