Yannick Bridier started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Coutes booed when Asques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Le Boulanger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Malcom Tanneau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coutes's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcom Tanneau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Lafage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marius Le Boulanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bastien Le Gal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Coutes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Pinte to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Coutes's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Le Boulanger came free, but Bastien Le Gal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcom Tanneau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Billy Lafage made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achille Bergougnoux to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Coutes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Carrion to maneuver through the defense. Marius Le Boulanger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marius Le Boulanger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Steven Garrouste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coutes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asques the free kick. A collision led to Coutes getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Steven Garrouste hit a great ball. If Yannick Bridier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asques's Billy Lafage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannick Bridier in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes Asques's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Fossati who took care of the corner kick. Billy Lafage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcom Tanneau, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Franck Bizeul hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Yannick Bridier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Lafage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Billy Lafage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcom Tanneau, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Coutes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Asques's performance. The match ended with a win for Asques.
