Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florent Guiheneuf started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florent Guiheneuf in the 5th minute of play forced Loret's goalkeeper Vivien Morelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Loret's Vivien Morelli got control of the ball when Nicolas Baylac tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loret's Vivien Morelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Loret from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florent Guiheneuf in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivien Morelli saved Loret from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Willy Quelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Serge Baudouin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the game, Serge Malterre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Epretot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loret the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Epretot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Malterre to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Paul Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Sapin in the 31st minute of the match. Nicolas Baylac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Pierre Careme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loret's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Epretot the free kick. Pierre Careme kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nicolas Baylac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vivien Morelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivien Morelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florent Guiheneuf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Vinel's late challenge caught a Epretot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Vinel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Loret's Robert Vinel got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Sapin made a kick off. Nicolas Baylac might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivien Morelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Baylac ran back to his position shaking his head. Vivien Morelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Baylac in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florent Guiheneuf in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vivien Morelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Willy Quelin came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Loret fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willy Quelin couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Serge Baudouin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Loret's Serge Baudouin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Paul Paul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Florent Guiheneuf took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivien Morelli. Vivien Morelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Baylac in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivien Morelli saved Loret from getting behind. Serge Baudouin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Paul having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loret had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
