The audience was convinced that Malcom Duret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Firmin Lavabre was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Firmin Lavabre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Hermet in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Doueineix's Malcom Duret made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Doueineix's goalkeeper Augustin Lys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alban Valour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malcom Duret was the one to do the kick off. Firmin Lavabre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcom Duret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Lys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paquière. Malcom Duret got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Paquière booed when Doueineix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcom Duret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatien Rabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Paquière got a freekick which was hit by Aymerick Benoist.
