The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Hespel got free with Aurelien Dieudonne in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tourcoing's Sam Megret got control of the ball when Roman Nourry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villepinte's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
