A collision led to Bouzigues getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Faustin Josso hit a great ball. Faustin Josso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam Megret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetan Ousset in the 37th minute of play. Sam Megret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaetan Ousset's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Joseph Matton made a precise shot to the right of Bob Bouville. Bouzigues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 47th match minute, Tourcoing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djibril Gibon to maneuver through the defense. Bouzigues's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilles Schlienger in the 50th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaetan Ousset made a kick off. Sam Megret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gauthier Gorce in the 55th minute of play. When Bouzigues's Faustin Josso in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sam Megret guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Joseph Matton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Bouzigues's Gaetan Ousset got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustin Josso struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sam Megret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bouzigues. In the 69th minute, Arthur Planchenault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bouzigues's zone, Victor Hespel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Bouville came out of the goal and Victor Hespel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Bouzigues's goal looked a bit too open when Reynald Quintin came free, but Bob Bouville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Teddy Gury put in a rough tackle. 76 minutes into the game, one of Bouzigues:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bob Bouville made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Victor Hespel sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bouzigues's goalkeeper Bob Bouville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Hespels short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Bob Bouville to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tourcoing eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
