Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Georges Le Men got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Jean-Marc Bechard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joe Valembois blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olivier Gallier having to make a save. In the 15th minute of the match Wingles got a corner. Quarouble's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Marie Liard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olivier Gallier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basile Becu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georges Le Men's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Delage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Olivier Gallier came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wingles's Joe Valembois. But to his dismay, Joe Valembois quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 26 played minutes Quarouble got a freekick which was hit by Berenger Baldini. Jean-Marie Liard, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 30th minute, Quarouble's Jean-Marc Bechard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Didier Delage. Didier Delage yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Georges Le Men received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Didier Delage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Wingles getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Robert Paulin hit a great ball. If Basile Becu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olivier Gallier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basile Becu in the 42nd minute of the match.

In the 56th of the match, Basile Becu tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Olivier Gallier got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Wingles booed when Quarouble was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Grolleau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe Valembois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Olivier Gallier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basile Becu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olivier Gallier came out and tried to block the shot, but Basile Becu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 67th minute. A collision led to Wingles getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robert Paulin hit a great ball. When Joe Valembois fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wingles's protests and gave Joe Valembois a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wingles's Joe Valembois got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Didier Delage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Marc Bechard in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Rudy Rouch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wingles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quarouble the free kick. The supporters of Wingles booed when Quarouble was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Marc Bechard didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Wingles's Jean-Marie Liard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olivier Gallier. The Wingles players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
