If Bertrand Couet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Batarelle booed when Vitrolles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi Couzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Tessier in the 11th minute of play forced Vitrolles's goalkeeper Jocelyn Sandoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Gilles Blanchard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitrolles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Blanchard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morgan Brette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pierrick Marie-Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Tessier took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jocelyn Sandoz. Jocelyn Sandoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute, Gilles Blanchard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pierrick Marie-Joseph. The goal made the score 1-1. If Morgan Brette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Batarelle's goalkeeper Pierrick Marie-Joseph had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Brette. In the 40th minute, Bertrand Couet made a precise shot to the right of Jocelyn Sandoz. Vitrolles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 46th minute, Morgan Brette fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pierrick Marie-Joseph, passed just outside the right post. If Morgan Brette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vitrolles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moise Massard was slow to take the kick. During this time Batarelle's players had a chance to rest. Moise Massard made a great header on Batarelle's corner, it was just that Vitrolles's Jocelyn Sandoz managed to reach the ball for a save. Batarelle's Gerard Tessier got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierrick Marie-Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Brette in the 66th minute of the match. Pierrick Marie-Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remi Couzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute, Remi Couzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Batarelle's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Brette came free, but Pierrick Marie-Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batarelle's Pierrick Marie-Joseph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Blanchard in the 83rd minute of play. When Camille Eynard fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batarelle's protests and gave Camille Eynard a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Batarelle's Camille Eynard got a free kick in the 84th minute. Vitrolles's Gilles Blanchard got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Morgan Brette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Vitrolles's goalkeeper Jocelyn Sandoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Tessier. Gilles Blanchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pierrick Marie-Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierrick Marie-Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Blanchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Batarelle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
