Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gilles Blanchard made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Vitrolles booed when Mezelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Lemahieu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilles Blanchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sebastien Delpy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Mezelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Bellegarde to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mezelly fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! 17 minutes in the game, Jonas Laurencon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jocelyn Poudevigne kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Pacome Boussuge from a close distance when the talented Jocelyn Sandoz managed to make a qualified save. Vitrolles's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Laurencon in the 27th minute of play forced Vitrolles's goalkeeper Jocelyn Sandoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Mezelly got a freekick which was hit by Joe Bellegarde. 30 minutes into the game, Jonas Laurencon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jocelyn Sandoz. Jonas Laurencon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Gilles Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonin Compagnon charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonin Compagnon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Mezelly got a freekick which was hit by Antonin Compagnon. Vitrolles were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Mezelly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanislas Roge took the corner. Pacome Boussuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Laurencon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mezelly's Louis Lemahieu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Mezelly's goalkeeper Sebastien Delpy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Brette. After a defensive mix-up in Vitrolles's zone, Pacome Boussuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jocelyn Sandoz came out of the goal and Pacome Boussuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes, Mezelly's Romaric Prin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jocelyn Sandoz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mezelly reached it. In the 59th minute, Redouane Delahaye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pacome Boussuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, one of Vitrolles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vitrolles's Jocelyn Sandoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Colombani in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jocelyn Poudevigne during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Vitrolles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jocelyn Poudevigne to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vitrolles's zone, Pacome Boussuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jocelyn Sandoz came out of the goal and Pacome Boussuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Laurencon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jocelyn Sandoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Laurencon in the 75th minute of the match. Jocelyn Sandoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacome Boussuge in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Mezelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Laurencon to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, Mezelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Colombani to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vitrolles's Jocelyn Poudevigne got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Pacome Boussuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jocelyn Sandoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Laurencon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mezelly's Sebastien Delpy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Blanchard in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Mezelly were the better team. Mezelly's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
