After having played for 4 minutes, Constantin Fiore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bègles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Fiore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daryl Petitjean was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Carrie. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bègles's goalkeeper Dylan Ragot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Fiore in the 15th minute of play forced Rennemoulin's goalkeeper Daryl Petitjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Philippe Susini came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rennemoulin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philippe Susini couldn't finish the play. Philippe Susini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Ragot having to interfere. When Raoul Bonnier fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bègles's protests and gave Raoul Bonnier a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Bègles got a freekick which was hit by Raoul Bonnier. After a defensive mix-up in Rennemoulin's zone, Constantin Fiore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daryl Petitjean came out of the goal and Constantin Fiore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Ronald Marquette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bègles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Marquette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Daryl Petitjean throw himself and got hold of the ball when Constantin Fiore in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Bègles booed when Rennemoulin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinedine Moyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Martial Chapuis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bègles's supporters rose to their feet, but Martial Chapuis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daryl Petitjean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rennemoulin booed when Bègles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Marquette didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Bègles:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rennemoulin:s goal. After the first half Rennemoulin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Fiore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Martial Chapuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Constantin Fiore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bègles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Fiore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martial Chapuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rennemoulin booed when Bègles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Vimont didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Philippe Susini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daryl Petitjean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Chapuis in the 73rd minute of the match. Daryl Petitjean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martial Chapuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Fiore in the 76th minute of play forced Rennemoulin's goalkeeper Daryl Petitjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Bègles's Martial Chapuis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daryl Petitjean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Philippe Susini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dylan Ragot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bègles getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lorenzo Perrette hit a great ball. The Rennemoulin players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bègles from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
