The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rudy Bailet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Donovan Cassou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Daryl Chalopin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Regis Albaret was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Sabri Alfred charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabri Alfred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Rodilhan got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Alfred. Malik Demarcq blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Regis Albaret having to make a save. Regis Albaret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daryl Chalopin's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Pirey's Malik Demarcq sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Regis Albaret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Pirey getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daryl Chalopin hit a great ball. A collision led to Rodilhan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rudy Bailet hit a great ball. Donovan Cassou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudy Bailet in the 27th minute. Sabri Alfred hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pirey's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yann Desmonts in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yann Desmonts got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Regis Albaret quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute of the match Yann Desmonts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Regis Albaret skillfully saved the ball. If Malik Demarcq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Malik Demarcq's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Regis Albaret was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Ternisien was the one to do the kick off. Donovan Cassou came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodilhan's Rudy Bailet. But to his dismay, Rudy Bailet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 59 minutes into the match, Pirey's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Bailet came free, but Donovan Cassou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudy Bailet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Donovan Cassou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donovan Cassou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Ternisien, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pierrick Raulet hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rodilhan's Adam Paumier tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Rudy Bailet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donovan Cassou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Bailet in the 78th minute of the match. Rodilhan's Leo Ternisien got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daryl Chalopin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Regis Albaret made a huge save. Oscar Curutchet hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Pirey's Donovan Cassou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ternisien in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rodilhan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pirey had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
