Steven Chauviere hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fenain getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rene Guidez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fenain's Yves Galan got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes, Talence's Dimitri Brument shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigue Le Flohic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talence reached it. Kevin Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigue Le Flohic having to interfere. Rene Guidez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Desfontaines having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Talence's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Guidez came free, but Henri Desfontaines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigue Le Flohic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Luce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri Desfontaines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Sacre in the 29th minute. If Rene Guidez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigue Le Flohic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Batista in the 34th minute of play. Gerald Luce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigue Le Flohic having to interfere. Rodrigue Le Flohic came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Talence's Kevin Batista. But to his dismay, Kevin Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 48 minutes into the game, Talence's Kevin Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigue Le Flohic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Guidez to make the kick off. Rene Guidez struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Henri Desfontaines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenain. Harry Sacre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Henri Desfontaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Rene Guidez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Fenain's Rene Guidez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henri Desfontaines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Henri Desfontaines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Sacre in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Rene Guidez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri Desfontaines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henri Desfontaines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Sacre, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Harry Sacre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talence's goalkeeper Henri Desfontaines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Christophe Delepine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henri Desfontaines. Talence's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Fenain's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald Luce came free, but Rodrigue Le Flohic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valerien Kahn charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valerien Kahn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fenain getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Valerien Kahn hit a great ball.
