Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raoul Chauchard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joe Gilliot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raoul Chauchard in the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Châtelet's goal looked a bit too open when Raoul Chauchard came free, but Joe Gilliot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Priem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Gilliot having to make a save. If Raoul Chauchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raoul Chauchard came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Aveney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raoul Chauchard couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes Châtelet got a freekick which was hit by Desire Dehu. After 25 played minutes Châtelet got a freekick which was hit by Dimitri Simon. When Châtelet's Romeo Pauvert, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Châtelet. The supporters of Aveney booed when Châtelet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastien Liaigre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Châtelet's zone, Timothe Krawczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Gilliot came out of the goal and Timothe Krawczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Isambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joe Gilliot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Châtelet getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Desire Dehu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Romeo Pauvert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Châtelet's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Pauvert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Thibaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Chazot in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Thibaud saved Aveney from getting behind. In the 55th minute of the match, Norbert Priem got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joe Gilliot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tim Thibaud came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Châtelet's Romeo Pauvert. But to his dismay, Romeo Pauvert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Simon Chazot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Châtelet's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Chazot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Thibaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aveney's Tim Thibaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Pauvert in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Romeo Pauvert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Châtelet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Châtelet's Dimitri Simon got a free kick in the 84th minute. Raoul Chauchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Raoul Chauchard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Romeo Pauvert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Châtelet's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Pauvert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Thibaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Aveney getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ewan Reau hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aveney players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Châtelet.
