The Lessy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Gaetan Bothorel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Lessy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Marc Leignel to maneuver through the defense. Lessy's Romaric Debrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Heinrich in the 22nd minute of play. Salomon Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Flamme having to interfere. When Gaetan Bothorel came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Antony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaetan Bothorel couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Heinrich to make the kick off. Alex Flamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Ribeiro in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Lessy's Romaric Debrie got control of the ball when Gaetan Bothorel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Gaetan Bothorel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Heinrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Romaric Debrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romaric Debrie made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gaetan Bothorel sent off a good shot on target. When Oscar Heinrich came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Antony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Heinrich couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Salomon Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lessy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Antony's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Agard came free, but Alex Flamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Heinrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romaric Debrie having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lessy's Renaud Hidalgo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gaetan Bothorel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Romaric Debrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Lessy's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Heinrich came free, but Romaric Debrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Oscar Heinrich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romaric Debrie was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Oscar Heinrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Romaric Debrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Lessy's Harold Agard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Flamme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 96 minutes into the match, Lessy's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Heinrich came free, but Romaric Debrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute Antony were awarded a corner. Donovan Dumenil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lessy's goalie and right to Carlos Langlois. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lessy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Antony's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
