In the 12th minute Felix Pot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Ayad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eguilles's Jacob Chapelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Sol in the 14th minute of play. Jacob Chapelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Christian Rogeon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brunstatt's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Rogeon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Chapelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Chapelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Sol in the 18th minute of the match. Jacob Chapelle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Eguilles booed when Brunstatt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod Jeanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Ayad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Pot in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Pot was the one to do the kick off. Felix Pot scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Ayad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Felix Pot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
