Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrice Coumes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ahmid Cheminade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Bordet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Ahmid Cheminade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Bordet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Fontanel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Nilvange getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ben Bompard hit a great ball. Karim Bordet made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ahmid Cheminade sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Arnold Rauch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karim Bordet. Arnold Rauch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Varangéville's Norbert Guiton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrice Coumes in the 21st minute of play. Kevin Mondet hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Karim Bordet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Fontanel in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Nilvange's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Fontanel came free, but Karim Bordet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patrice Coumes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Fontanel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Bordet having to interfere. Norbert Guiton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrice Coumes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrice Coumes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Norbert Guiton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilvange. Ahmid Cheminade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Karim Bordet made a huge save. If Rémy Bertrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Achille Fontanel made the kick off in the second half. Willy Ropers kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Karim Bordet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmid Cheminade in the 56th minute of the match. When Rémy Bertrand came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nilvange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rémy Bertrand couldn't finish the play. If Ahmid Cheminade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmid Cheminade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Karim Bordet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rémy Bertrand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Guiton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nilvange's Rémy Bertrand got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Ahmid Cheminade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Bordet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achille Fontanel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Karim Bordet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patrice Coumes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rémy Bertrand came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nilvange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rémy Bertrand couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Varangéville had won after a very even match.
