Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Noyer's Marc Echard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noyer's Lucas Capello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Fouquart in the 3rd minute of play. Alban Giner kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Noyer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Branchu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Noyer booed when Poisy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alban Giner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Bernard Lafontaine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poisy and the Noyer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Poisy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Lafontaine to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Capello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Fouquart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Poisy's goalkeeper Joris Comtet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Firmin Laforet. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Joris Comtet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Firmin Laforet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Noyer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marc Echard struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Joris Comtet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noyer. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Marc Pecheux to strike the kick off in the second half. Joris Comtet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firmin Laforet, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Adrien Fouquart could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Lucas Capello however easily saved by the left post. When Lucas Le Bourhis fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noyer's protests and gave Lucas Le Bourhis a yellow card for diving instead. Poisy's Jean-Marc Pecheux got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Rabouin charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Rabouin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Noyer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Rabouin to maneuver through the defense. Adrien Fouquart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firmin Laforet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Joris Comtet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrien Fouquart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Lucas Capello made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Adrien Fouquart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Jocelyn Borel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, one of Noyer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Noyer's zone, Jean-Marc Pecheux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Capello came out of the goal and Jean-Marc Pecheux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
