Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ludovic Harle got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Monti's Jocelyn Libert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Chaulet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Chaulet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludovic Harle in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ludovic Harle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Chaulet was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Chris Durant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 16 played minutes, when Monti:s Ferdinand Kerrien calmly waited for Cavernes:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 20th minute, Jocelyn Libert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Durant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Couprie having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match, Jocelyn Libert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Chaulet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jocelyn Libert came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabian Chaulet could save by the left post. If Chris Durant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Durant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cavernes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cheikh Boudet in the 38th minute. Maximilien Le Vaillant thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Patrick Couprie, a very annoying self made goal in the 38th minute which led to 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Chris Durant made the kick off in the second half. When Jean-Charles Autier fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monti's protests and gave Jean-Charles Autier a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Monti got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Charles Autier. 56 minutes into the match, Monti's Jocelyn Libert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Chaulet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Ludovic Harle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fabian Chaulet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincent Moussy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Ferdinand Kerrien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jocelyn Libert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ludovic Harle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludovic Harle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Chaulet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Chaulet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jocelyn Libert in the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Gilles Bonjean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Ludovic Harle in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilles Bonjean during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilles Bonjean kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cavernes's Chris Durant got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilien Le Vaillant kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes in the game Cheikh Boudet got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Monti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
