Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baptiste Gicquel got the match started through his kick off. Manuel Etienne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baptiste Gicquel took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddy Martial. Eddy Martial dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bassee's goalkeeper Patrice Koessler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrice Koessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Geslot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Demeyer got free with Patrice Koessler in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the match, Florent Delahaie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrice Koessler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 35 minutes into the match, Bassee's goal looked a bit too open when Florent Delahaie came free, but Patrice Koessler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baptiste Gicquel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Martial having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Martigues:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bassee:s goal. Manuel Etienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Martial having to interfere. Manuel Etienne had several of the Martigues's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Eddy Martial as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bassee's Patrice Koessler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florent Delahaie in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes, Manuel Etienne made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Martigues's Eddy Martial tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eddy Martial made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Manuel Etienne sent off a good shot on target. Eddy Martial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Gicquel in the 82nd minute of play. Eddy Martial was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eymeric Wawrzyniak. In the 89th minute, Arnaud Demeyer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5.
