Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bixente Charret made the kick off which started today's match. Samuel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Leplat in the 4th minute of play. Samuel Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Leplat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Théodore Develay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Donald Leplat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maron's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald Leplat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donald Leplat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Marin having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Ulysse Verite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donald Leplat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Debove's late challenge caught a Maron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Debove helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maron booed when Suzanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Debove didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donald Leplat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Samuel Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Marie Louet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maron's Bérenger Prost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Marie Louet in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bixente Charret in the 36th minute of play forced Maron's goalkeeper Bérenger Prost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bixente Charret struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bérenger Prost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suzanne. When Ulysse Verite came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Maron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysse Verite couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Maron booed when Suzanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Debove didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donald Leplat was the one to do the kick off. If Donald Leplat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jean-Charles Sorin fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maron's protests and gave Jean-Charles Sorin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Maron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Charles Sorin to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Marie Louet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bérenger Prost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Donald Leplat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Marin was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute of the match Maron got a corner. Suzanne's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentin Soubrier ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Maron's corner Valentin Soubrier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuel Marin quite easily take care of the ball. Donald Leplat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Mathias Sebastien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suzanne's Samuel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Leplat in the 89th minute of play. Maron's Donald Leplat got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
