Vignal's Antoine Bachelot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vignal from getting a goal against them. After having played for 11 minutes, Marius Nivelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vignal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Nivelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alphonse Mouchon in the 13th minute of play forced Vauréal's goalkeeper Timothe Morin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vauréal booed when Vignal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Racaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vauréal's Timothe Morin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Mouchon in the 34th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vauréal's Richard Pays slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antoine Bachelot. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Ronald Billot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Vauréal got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Bentz.

After 55 played minutes Vignal got a freekick which was hit by Marius Nivelle. After having played for 57 minutes, Ronald Billot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vauréal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Billot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Terry Bourlier hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Alexis Cohen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ronald Billot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Antoine Bachelot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vignal's Antoine Bachelot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Pays in the 88th minute of play. Marius Nivelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothe Morin having to interfere. Leonard Liege charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Liege the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vignal booed when Vauréal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Liege didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vignal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vauréal.
