Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mondelange's Geoffroy Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Pitel in the 3rd minute of play. Geoffroy Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarod Begon, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Béchanne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Denise to maneuver through the defense. Leopold Marck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gregoire Jullien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxence Arrault, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Pascal Gobert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Geoffroy Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Eric Pitel made a precise shot to the right of Geoffroy Flores. Mondelange's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Mondelange booed when Béchanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Brenet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Maxence Arrault managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mondelange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxence Arrault was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Pitel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Mondelange's goal looked a bit too open when Jarod Begon came free, but Geoffroy Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Simon Guin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Béchanne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mondelange the free kick. Maxence Arrault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philibert Ferrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregoire Jullien having to interfere. After the first half Béchanne were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarod Begon got free with Geoffroy Flores in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascal Gobert struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Geoffroy Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Béchanne. If Philibert Ferrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Béchanne's goalkeeper Gregoire Jullien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Philibert Ferrie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mondelange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jarod Begons short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Geoffroy Flores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pascal Gobert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maxence Arrault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Pitel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Béchanne's zone, Maxence Arrault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregoire Jullien came out of the goal and Maxence Arrault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregoire Jullien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxence Arrault, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Maxence Arrault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gregoire Jullien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
