Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Versannat's Brian Menier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jose Helmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Colliot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Laurencin having to interfere. Samy Brazier charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samy Brazier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Versannat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samy Brazier to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Empiré's Romaric Ronceray tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Chris Gaubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Helmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Versannat's Jose Helmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chris Gaubert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jose Helmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jose Helmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Versannat's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Helmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Gaubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Versannat's Brian Menier in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empiré's goalie prevented a goal. Justin Colliot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ferdinand Laurencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Renaud Sicre's late challenge caught a Empiré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaud Sicre helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Menier in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Gaubert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Louvel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Brian Menier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chris Gaubert. Empiré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Menier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 85 minutes of play, Empiré's Justin Colliot made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Laurencin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renaud Sicre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Versannat's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Colliot came free, but Ferdinand Laurencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raymond Escaffre fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Versannat's protests and gave Raymond Escaffre a yellow card for diving instead. Raymond Escaffre kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Jason Lahaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Laurencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Lahaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
