Dorian Willmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pantin. After a defensive mix-up in Gérardcourt's zone, Terry Thevenon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Willmann came out of the goal and Terry Thevenon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Terry Thevenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Didier Dumora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian Willmann. Gérardcourt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didier Dumora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dorian Willmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Thevenon in the 13th minute of the match. Terry Thevenon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Willmann having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Gustave Pied was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gérardcourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pantin the free kick. After 18 played minutes Gérardcourt got a freekick which was hit by Gustave Pied. After a defensive mix-up in Pantin's zone, Daryl Puissant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timothe Jardel came out of the goal and Daryl Puissant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daryl Puissant in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timothe Jardel saved Pantin from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Ernest Itier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pantin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gérardcourt the free kick. Ernest Itier kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Pantin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Gerard to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Gosselin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daryl Puissant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Dumora in the 57th minute of play forced Gérardcourt's goalkeeper Dorian Willmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didier Dumora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Terry Thevenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pantin defense, Daryl Puissant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timothe Jardel. The Pantin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timothe Jardel should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Pantin got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Finet. 69 minutes into the match, Pantin's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Delbarre came free, but Timothe Jardel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Didier Dumora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Pantin booed when Gérardcourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josselin Danger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terry Thevenon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dorian Willmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Willmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didier Dumora in the 79th minute. Timothe Jardel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Puissant, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gérardcourt's Joel Delbarre got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daryl Puissant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timothe Jardel was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gérardcourt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pantin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
