Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Faustin Pourre made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 minutes, Sam Brochard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallauris and the Fabron players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Sam Brochard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Borderie took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcom Jeulin. Malcom Jeulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Émilien Guilloux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Catoire in the 10th minute of play. Leon Catoire scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Émilien Guilloux, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erwin Borderie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Malcom Jeulin made a huge save. Malcom Jeulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Pourre in the 27th minute of the match. Albert Koehl's late challenge caught a Fabron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Koehl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fabron booed when Vallauris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Koehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Antoine Chenu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Émilien Guilloux. Vallauris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Vallauris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Koehl to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Dilan Blot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Émilien Guilloux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erwin Borderie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Malcom Jeulin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the game, Faustin Gatineau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallauris the free kick. Faustin Gatineau kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Vallauris's Erwin Borderie got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Andre Penard hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Erwin Borderie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fabron's Andre Penard got a free kick in the 59th minute. Malcom Jeulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Pourre, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Fabron got a freekick which was hit by Andre Penard. Émilien Guilloux made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Dilan Blot sent off a good shot on target. Leon Catoire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Bourdier charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurice Bourdier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vallauris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Fabron a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pierre-Antoine Chenu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vallauris's Émilien Guilloux. 2-3. Émilien Guilloux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Penard in the 77th minute of the match. Sam Brochard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Malcom Jeulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Dan Magnet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallauris the free kick. The supporters of Vallauris booed when Fabron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Magnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Borderie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcom Jeulin having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Fabron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Penard to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Vallauris were awarded a corner. Maurice Bourdier went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 92nd minute, Fabron's Leon Catoire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When Leon Catoire came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Fabron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Catoire couldn't finish the play. The Fabron supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fabron would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
