In the 5th minute Teddy Munoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adil Obert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis Cocq's late challenge caught a Châteaugay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Châteaugay's Loic Bergot got a free kick in the 11th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Bouvard's goalkeeper Adil Obert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reda Dulieu. If Norbert Kerbrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Kerbrat in the 30th minute of play forced Châteaugay's goalkeeper Marius Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Norbert Kerbrat put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marius Sabin. After a defensive mix-up in Châteaugay's zone, Noé Devred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Sabin came out of the goal and Noé Devred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bouvard's goalkeeper Adil Obert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Teddy Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Munoz to make the kick off. Marc-Antoine Darbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marius Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Noé Devred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erwin Zielinski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marius Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Kerbrat in the 58th minute of the match. Hubert Simeon charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Simeon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Châteaugay's zone, Marc-Antoine Darbon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Sabin came out of the goal and Marc-Antoine Darbon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adil Obert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Munoz in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Châteaugay's Teddy Munoz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adil Obert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adil Obert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Munoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Teddy Munoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bouvard's Adil Obert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Noé Devred got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marius Sabin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Noé Devred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adil Obert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reda Dulieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
