In the 5th minute Johan Janicot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Beuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fenain defense, Salim Jaillet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevan Liènard. The Fenain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevan Liènard should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Fenain's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Jaillet came free, but Kevan Liènard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Théophile Hérouard charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Théophile Hérouard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Théophile Hérouard hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Benjamin Marques, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Fenain's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Jaillet came free, but Kevan Liènard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Fenain's Johan Janicot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Salim Jaillet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sacha Gruet scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevan Liènard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Matthieu Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match, Stanislas Bodin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moise Beuve was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johan Janicot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Moise Beuve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salim Jaillet struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kevan Liènard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joeuf. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sacha Gruet in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevan Liènard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Johan Janicot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Beuve was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Janicot to make the kick off. Stanislas Bodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Sacha Gruet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevan Liènard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Fenain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madjid Bouygues to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Salim Jaillet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevan Liènard. Salim Jaillet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 74th minute, Sacha Gruet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sacha Gruet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Benjamin Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joeuf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenain the free kick. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Joeuf! Johan Janicot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Johan Janicot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonin Bouchaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Beuve having to interfere. Stanislas Bodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Johan Janicot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenain's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Janicot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Beuve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Joeuf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
