Bréteque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joeuf the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bréteque's Pierre-Antoine Moulinet got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Sacha Gruet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc Guilleminot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacha Gruet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Joly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Moise Beuve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Beuve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Felix in the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Joeuf's zone, Damien Chappe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Beuve came out of the goal and Damien Chappe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Salim Jaillet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Guilleminot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Joly in the 38th minute of play forced Joeuf's goalkeeper Moise Beuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Joly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Beuve having to interfere. Moise Beuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Joly, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Bréteque's Sidney Joly got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Joeuf's Corentin Guillaud got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 49th minute, Hocine Felix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moise Beuve was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Bréteque were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sacha Gruet to make the kick off. Sacha Gruet struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marc Guilleminot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joeuf. Corentin Guillaud hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Hocine Felix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hocine Felix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moise Beuve having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Sidney Joly in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Felix in the 63rd minute of play forced Joeuf's goalkeeper Moise Beuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha Gruet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Salim Jaillet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-Antoine Moulinet kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Marc Guilleminot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacha Gruet in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Salim Jaillet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joeuf's supporters rose to their feet, but Salim Jaillet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Guilleminot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sacha Gruet in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Guilleminot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moise Beuve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Joly in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Felix in the 97th minute of play forced Joeuf's goalkeeper Moise Beuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Joeuf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bréteque's performance. The match ended with a win for Bréteque.
