After having played for 4 minutes, Edmond Lefeuvre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Lefeuvre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Constantin Patry fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reveillon's protests and gave Constantin Patry a yellow card for diving instead. Bakary Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Jean-Charles Bosquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynald Demeure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jean-Charles Bosquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barade's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Charles Bosquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynald Demeure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Redouane Le Pallec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Reynald Demeure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehdi Wargnier kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Reveillon's Reynald Demeure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Redouane Le Pallec in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Reveillon's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Bosquet came free, but Reynald Demeure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Hacquard might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrice Duhayon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacob Hacquard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute of the match Axel Cozic sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynald Demeure skillfully saved the ball. Reynald Demeure stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Redouane Le Pallec's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Bakary Diaz's late challenge caught a Barade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bakary Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Reveillon's Bakary Diaz got a free kick in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Redouane Le Pallec in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynald Demeure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the game, Barade's Redouane Le Pallec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynald Demeure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Reveillon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barade were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Terry Marchadour was the one to do the kick off.
