In the 5th minute, Charles Bareille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Aubière's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Chevrier came free, but Jean-Baptiste Bille reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Blondeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Baptiste Bille having to interfere. Baptiste Dupuy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Raimbaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sebastien Raimbaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baptiste Dupuy having to interfere. Sebastien Raimbaud's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Baptiste Dupuy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jean Audibert charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Audibert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aubière getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jean Audibert hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Primaudière's Loic Brossier in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Primaudière's Eric Blondeau got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Jean Audibert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Blondeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Chevrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jean-Baptiste Bille tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francois Houssaye kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastien Raimbaud to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Primaudière's Eric Blondeau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Baptiste Bille made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 58th match minute, Primaudière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Dore to maneuver through the defense. Primaudière's Baptiste Dupuy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastien Raimbaud in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Charles Bareille managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Bareille was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baptiste Dupuy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastien Raimbaud in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Aubière booed when Primaudière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germain Pimont didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Sebastien Raimbaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Raimbaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Primaudière defense, Sebastien Raimbaud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baptiste Dupuy. The Primaudière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baptiste Dupuy should have stopped the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Sebastien Raimbaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Raimbaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romuald Lorieux kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Aubière's Sebastien Raimbaud got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Baptiste Bille didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Chevrier went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
