Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luka Meffre started the match with the kick off. Manuel Guillaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Vallade in the 3rd minute of the match. If Luka Meffre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Guillaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Vallade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theophile Dumez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Eloi Coudret notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vesse's Manuel Guillaud. Manuel Guillaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 minutes, Joseph Gelineau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valleroy and the Vesse players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Vesse's zone, Eloi Coudret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Guillaud came out of the goal and Eloi Coudret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Pierre Vallade made a kick off. Manuel Guillaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pierre Vallade, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Luka Meffre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Valleroy's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Cuq came free, but Adam Monnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Guillaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Vesse's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Vallade came free, but Manuel Guillaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Jean-Pierre Vallade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloi Coudret got free with Manuel Guillaud in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valleroy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
