Vesse's Manuel Guillaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Vesse from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Barby's Mathys Mohamed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Guillaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacob Flamant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Meffre in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Cuq in the 21st minute of play forced Barby's goalkeeper Jacob Flamant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luka Meffre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Luc Cuq who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barby's Jacob Flamant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mathys Mohamed came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Barby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathys Mohamed couldn't finish the play. If Mathys Mohamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luc Cuq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barby's Jacob Flamant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Cuq in the 41st minute of play. Karim Le Coq charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karim Le Coq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karim Le Coq kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vesse's Luka Meffre got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Luka Meffre got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Vesse.

The wind increased when Mathys Mohamed made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Dazin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Daniel Dazin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vesse's Manuel Guillaud didn't even have to move. Mathys Mohamed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Manuel Guillaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Vesse's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dazin came free, but Manuel Guillaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Flamant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luc Cuq in the 75th minute. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Luc Cuq got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Dazin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Guillaud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Vesse booed when Barby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Le Coq didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucien Fourny's late challenge caught a Barby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucien Fourny helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vesse's Lucien Fourny got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Barby booed when Vesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Fourny didn't get a good kick on the ball.
