Steve Carbonnel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paul-Henri Begard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul-Henri Begard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Carbonnel having to interfere. Jimmy Delaunay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul-Henri Begard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Steve Carbonnel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Courneuve's Gaston Bernardo got control of the ball when Rodrigue Marcadet tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rodrigue Marcadet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Courneuve's goalkeeper Gaston Bernardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38thth minute of the game Jimmy Delaunay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meylan's Steve Carbonnel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Courneuve getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Joe Bigand hit a great ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Courneuve's goalkeeper Gaston Bernardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy Delaunay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Jean-Paul Mariette made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Courneuve's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Mariette came free, but Gaston Bernardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emeric Harter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Courneuve's goalkeeper Gaston Bernardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malik Marbach's late challenge caught a Meylan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malik Marbach helped the player get up and apologised. Malik Marbach hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rodrigue Marcadet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Bernardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Paul Mariette in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Meylan's Rodrigue Marcadet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Bernardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Courneuve defense, Rodrigue Marcadet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Bernardo. The Courneuve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Bernardo should have stopped the shot. Steve Carbonnel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Jimmy Delaunay sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Steve Carbonnel managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Courneuve's Jimmy Delaunay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Steve Carbonnel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Courneuve's Jimmy Delaunay. But to his dismay, Jimmy Delaunay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jimmy Delaunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Courneuve's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
