Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mario Lagier got the match started through his kick off. Mario Lagier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Denis Cruchet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregoire Forgues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hagondange's Jean-Charles Paya in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meurchin's goalie prevented a goal. Jean-Charles Paya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Sylvain Boutard fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tim Fradin, passed just outside the right post. Tim Fradin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Charles Paya in the 18th minute of play. Tim Fradin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sylvain Boutard sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Tim Fradin managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Hagondange's Sylvain Boutard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Hagondange's Timothe Fourel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sidney Comtet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cruchet having to interfere. Sylvain Boutards short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Tim Fradin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Meurchin's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Paya came free, but Tim Fradin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Cruchet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Comtet in the 39th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, Meurchin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Auer to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Charles Paya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean-Charles Paya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregoire Forgues charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregoire Forgues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Hagondange got a freekick which was hit by Gregoire Forgues. Meurchin's Jonas Botella couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hagondange. Jean-Charles Paya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tim Fradin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Charles Paya in the 75th minute of play. Sidney Comtet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cruchet having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gregoire Forgues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Lagier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cruchet having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
