Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damien Rouat started the match with the kick off. In the 10thth minute of the game Benjamin Pesquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quiévrechain's Hector Chazalon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quiévrechain's Hector Chazalon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Pesquet in the 13th minute of play. Hector Chazalon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Pesquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Gregoire Bonnet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Philipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Rouat in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Rieulay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Maridet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Quiévrechain's Damien Rouat got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Donovan Moll came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rieulay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Moll couldn't finish the play. Antonin Delaunay hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Benjamin Pesquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Donovan Moll made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Gregoire Bonnet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hector Chazalon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st match minute, Rieulay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaise Levavasseur to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Rouat in the 63rd minute of play forced Rieulay's goalkeeper Dorian Philipp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Damien Rouat got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dorian Philipp was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rieulay's Donovan Moll got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damien Rouat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Philipp having to interfere. Donovan Moll had several of the Quiévrechain's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Hector Chazalon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Benjamin Pesquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hector Chazalon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, one of Rieulay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rieulay. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Quiévrechain. Samy Harter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dorian Philipp. 2-3. Gregoire Bonnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Chazalon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. When the match was over Rieulay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quiévrechain throughout the match.
