The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruce Raud who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Allan Trehin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Malik Merlier notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Veyrie's Salomon Dejean. Salomon Dejean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Trehin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruce Raud in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Veyrie's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Perret came free, but Salomon Dejean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Veyrie's Octave Onfroy got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hector Inizan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Axel Dupire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vayres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Dupire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sidney Perret came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Vayres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Perret couldn't finish the play. Sidney Perret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Malik Merlier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Dejean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruce Raud struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Allan Trehin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veyrie. After 57 played minutes Veyrie got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Furet. In the 59th minute, Raphael Baille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Nauleau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Trehin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Bruce Raud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Trehin having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Veyrie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Le Bret to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Vayres's Sidney Perret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salomon Dejean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bruce Raud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veyrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Raud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Trehin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Nauleau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Allan Trehin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Bruce Raud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Allan Trehin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Vayres defense, Bruce Raud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Trehin. The Vayres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Trehin should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Nauleau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Trehin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Yannick Furet hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Vayres players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Veyrie from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
