Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Valerien Bourdel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sidney Perret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Vayres's Sidney Perret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valerien Bourdel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anthony Lesieur might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Trehin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Lesieur ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Sylvain Lorenzini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Trehin. Vayres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylvain Lorenzini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Jason Lafontaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Guede hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Jason Lafontaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylvain Lorenzini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Allan Trehin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Lesieur in the 34th minute of play forced Vayres's goalkeeper Allan Trehin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vayres's zone, Anthony Lesieur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Trehin came out of the goal and Anthony Lesieur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vayres's Allan Trehin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Tilly in the 44th minute of play. Malik Merlier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Valerien Bourdel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Vantoux were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vayres's goalkeeper Allan Trehin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Vayres getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jason Lafontaine hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Jason Lafontaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vantoux's zone, Malik Merlier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valerien Bourdel came out of the goal and Malik Merlier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Perret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Valerien Bourdel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louison Tilly kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Vayres's Malik Merlier got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marius Padre kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Vantoux's goal looked a bit too open when Malik Merlier came free, but Valerien Bourdel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vayres's Malik Merlier got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner ended in Leon Mauguin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vayres's Allan Trehin did a great save. Valerien Bourdel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malik Merlier went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sidney Perret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Malik Merlier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Valerien Bourdel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Lesieur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Allan Trehin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 96 minutes into the match, Vantoux's Sylvain Lorenzini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Trehin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vayres fully deserved thier win.
