Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clement Verge took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Quentin Desmedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Desmedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederic Breheret in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donald Meheut saved Claix from getting behind. Paulo Messager hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Vincent Gremillet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Frederic Breheret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goupilloux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederic Breheret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Frederic Breheret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederic Breheret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Donald Meheut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match Darren Beauge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Lasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donald Meheut stood somewhat misplaced when Frederic Breheret came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. When Ronald Alleaume came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Goupilloux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Alleaume couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Claix got a freekick which was hit by Henri Hennebert. Vincent Gremillet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donald Meheut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Quentin Desmedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Meheut made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vincent Gremillet sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysse Krebs during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Goupilloux booed when Claix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysse Krebs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claix's Donald Meheut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Alleaume in the 54th minute of play. Goupilloux's Joseph Lasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clement Verge in the 65th minute of play. Clement Verge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Lasson having to interfere. Joseph Lasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clement Verge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Meheut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Breheret, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vincent Gremillet struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Donald Meheut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goupilloux. Goupilloux's Ronald Alleaume suffered a sore foot after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 86 minutes into the game, Henri Hennebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goupilloux the free kick. After 87 played minutes Claix got a freekick which was hit by Henri Hennebert. If Clement Verge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Goupilloux getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Frederic Breheret hit a great ball. Claix's Clement Verge got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Claix players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Goupilloux from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
