After a rather tough play, Carvin's Tommy Bourmaud got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Charles-Henri Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carvin's zone, Mehdi Gossart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Brown came out of the goal and Mehdi Gossart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Marsinval got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Gossart. Brice Delebarre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Haag showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Brice Delebarre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Duhamel in the 33rd minute. Carvin's Teddy Duhamel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Duhamels short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Brice Delebarre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47thth minute of the game Mehdi Gossart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carvin's Christian Brown was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Haag was the one to do the kick off. Mehdi Gossart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Brown having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teddy Bondu during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Carvin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Bondu to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Steve Haag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Delebarre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddy Duhamel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
