Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Achille Traore got the match started through his kick off. Floirac's Achille Traore got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Regis Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Chapon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sevres's zone, Gaspard Robineau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Caillot came out of the goal and Gaspard Robineau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Floirac getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Achille Traore hit a great ball. Regis Moreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordy Plisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gilles Chapon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspard Robineau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Regis Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ewan Lecanu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordy Plisson to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspard Robineau in the 51st minute of play forced Sevres's goalkeeper Bastien Caillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordy Plisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gilles Chapon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jordy Plisson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sevres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordy Plisson couldn't finish the play. If Regis Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilles Chapon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Plisson in the 61st minute of the match. Ewan Lecanu's late challenge caught a Sevres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ewan Lecanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Floirac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewan Lecanu to maneuver through the defense. Roland Ayrault hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Floirac's Nelson Francoise got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 74 minutes, Paulo Fache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sevres and the Floirac players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, one of Sevres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sevres. Aime Dumond shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Floirac's Gaspard Robineau got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Floirac's Gilles Chapon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Floirac from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Floirac's Eugene Leriche got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Regis Moreau notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Floirac's Gilles Chapon. Gilles Chapon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Achille Traore came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Floirac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Traore couldn't finish the play. The Sevres supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sevres would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
