If Gaspard Robineau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Eric Ciron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Chapon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Ciron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aime Dumond hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Gilles Chapon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucas Boulard. After some careless play in the Schiltigheim defense, Gaspard Robineau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidney Leneveu. The Schiltigheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidney Leneveu should have stopped the shot. Gaspard Robineau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspard Robineau in the 33rd minute of play forced Schiltigheim's goalkeeper Sidney Leneveu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Leneveu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Traore in the 35th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Julien Le Moine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schiltigheim and the Floirac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faudel Boutard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gilles Chapon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achille Traore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Floirac's Gilles Chapon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Ciron in the 56th minute of play. Gilles Chapon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faudel Boutard, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Schiltigheim booed when Floirac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugene Leriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Boulard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Floirac's Gaspard Robineau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidney Leneveu. Sidney Leneveu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 89th match minute, Floirac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Ayrault to maneuver through the defense. Schiltigheim's Eric Ciron managed to work through Floirac's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eric Ciron dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 91st match minute, Floirac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Ayrault to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Floirac eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
