Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Deville made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 7 minutes, Michael Duville managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miquelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Duville was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Courchelettes's goalkeeper Marc-Antoine Catala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean Thiriat might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Quere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Thiriat ran back to his position shaking his head. Marc-Antoine Catala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Piel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marius Brument's late challenge caught a Miquelle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Brument helped the player get up and apologised. Marius Brument kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The long shot by Joris Jourdan in the 25th minute really tested Marc-Antoine Catala's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joseph Quere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Deville's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jean Thiriat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Christian Deville cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joseph Quere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Boris Piel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Piel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Courchelettes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Fougere to maneuver through the defense. Marc-Antoine Catala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Piel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Miquelle got a corner. Courchelettes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joris Jourdan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Miquelle's Joris Jourdan to fire away a dangerous shot which Marc-Antoine Catala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Piel in the 59th minute of play forced Courchelettes's goalkeeper Marc-Antoine Catala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Michael Duville managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miquelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Duville was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc-Antoine Catala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Miquelle's goalkeeper Joseph Quere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Thiriat. Joseph Quere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Deville's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Michael Duville managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miquelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Duville was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc-Antoine Catala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miquelle's Boris Piel got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Courchelettes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miquelle:s goal. Marc-Antoine Catala had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Joris Jourdan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marc-Antoine Catala came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Miquelle's Joris Jourdan. But to his dismay, Joris Jourdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Michael Duville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Quere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Deville in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Dylan Tillard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miquelle and the Courchelettes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Deville struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Joseph Quere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Courchelettes. Marc-Antoine Catala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Piel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
