Guillaume Croze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Guin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martial Cezard in the 18th minute. Robert Hochet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Croze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yazid Susini hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Anthony Guin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Reynaert in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Barby's Martial Cezard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthony Guin. Anthony Guin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Robert Hochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Pageot in the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Barby defense, John-Paul Tramoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Hochet. The Barby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Hochet should have stopped the shot. Martial Cezard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Anthony Guin made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Michel Pageot made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Guillaume Croze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Robert Hochet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Pageot in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Hochet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Barby getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leo Quinquis hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Barby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Baudier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Pageot in the 80th minute of play forced Barby's goalkeeper Robert Hochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Hochet made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Guillaume Croze sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Barby's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Pageot came free, but Robert Hochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Talloires booed when Barby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Quinquis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Talloires players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
